Our Mission
To democratize data intelligence for restaurants in Brazil. We believe every food service operation — from a neighborhood bar to a franchise chain — deserves access to the same analytics and management tools that were previously available only to large corporations.
The Problem We Solve
Brazil's food service market generates over R$ 250 billion per year, yet 60% of restaurants close within their first 2 years. The main reason isn't a lack of culinary talent — it's a lack of data-driven management. Poorly priced menus, invisible waste, manual operations, and gut-feel decisions are the silent killers.
Our Solution
Mise en Place is a SaaS platform that combines artificial intelligence with operational management:
- Menu X-Ray (AI): Automated menu analysis using computer vision and LLMs. A 0-100 score, pricing diagnostics, opportunity identification, and actionable quick wins.
- Real-Time Order Management: End-to-end order flow with a Kitchen Display System (KDS) for the kitchen.
- Table & Reservation Management: Visual floor map with real-time status and an integrated reservation system.
- AI Chefs: Intelligent assistants configurable per restaurant — answer questions, analyze feedback, and suggest improvements.
- Analytics & Reports: Dashboard with sales metrics, item performance, feedback analysis, and trends.
Technology
We build on a modern, scalable stack:
- Real-time GraphQL API with WebSocket subscriptions
- Multi-provider AI (Claude/Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek) — configurable per restaurant
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) with vector search for context-aware responses
- Multi-tenant architecture with Row-Level Security on PostgreSQL
- PWA for Kitchen Display — works offline
- Full compliance with Brazil's LGPD (General Data Protection Law)
